Sofia Giron is a New York–based graphic designer and Digital Marketing Intern focused on music-related design, including album artwork, posters, and artist merchandise. Originally from Guatemala, she holds a degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Rafael Landívar with a focus on Digital Startegies. Her work is influenced by grunge and vintage aesthetics, with an emphasis on creating visuals that feel connected to the sound and identity of each artist.
She has worked with both emerging and established artists, developing visuals that support their creative direction and audience connection. Sofia has freelanced with merch companies such as Manhead, contributing artwork for artists including Alanis Morissette and Lainey Wilson. She also regularly collaborates with local artists on show posters and has supported visual identity development for international projects.
In addition to design, Sofia has experience in digital marketing and brand activations, including work with brands like Red Bull Guatemala. This has helped her understand how design fits into broader campaigns and live event environments.
Alongside her professional work, she continues to explore personal projects that connect music and visual storytelling, using design as a way to interpret and expand on the feeling behind a song. She’s interested in continuing to grow within the music and entertainment space, building thoughtful and visually engaging work along the way.
