Multi-hyphenate YouTube content creator, actress, author, designer, and influencer Eva Gutowski is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after young talents in Hollywood, finding success across both digital and traditional platforms. Gutowski is perhaps best known for her highly successful YouTube channel, MyLifeAsEva, which currently boasts over eight million subscribers and continues to grow daily. Her weekly videos range from fashion and beauty tips to day-in-the-life vlogs, travel diaries, do-it-yourself projects, comedy content and parodies, and more.
Gutowski also serves as creator and creative director of It’s All Wild, the much-buzzed-about clothing line and lifestyle destination she launched in July 2017 for the chic and adventurous girl-on-the-go. The brand features seasonal, minimalistic capsule collections inspired by some of her favorite travel destinations across the globe. In addition to serving as the exclusive retailer for the brand, the website is also home to original fashion and lifestyle content from Gutowski including exclusive blogs, photos, and video.
On screen, Gutowski could most recently be seen as star of the YouTube Red original series Me and My Grandma. In it, she plays “Janey,” a starry-eyed young woman who moves to Los Angeles with her grandma (Rhea Perlman) with dreams of becoming an actress, only to find that her grandma also has big Hollywood aspirations. Previously, she served as creator, executive producer, and star of the YouTube original series How to Survive High School, which went on to become the platform’s most-watched scripted series. Her additional television and digital series work includes YouTube Red’s Escape the Night and Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark.
In 2015, Gutowski released her first original single and satirical music video titled “Literally, My Life”. The song quickly became a viral sensation, has since amassed over 36 million views, and was the year’s most sold single on the iTunes Comedy charts. That same year, she joined forces with fellow YouTube tastemakers Meredith Foster, Alisha Marie, Meghan Rienks, Mia Stammer, and Andie Case to launch Fullscreen Live’s Girls Night In tour, which saw them traveling coast-to-coast and sharing their signature tips and brand of comedy with sold-out crowds in twenty cities across the country.
Gutowski published her first book, My Life As Eva: The Struggle is Real, with Simon & Schuster in February 2017. The bestselling lifestyle and advice guide details the ups and downs of everyday life as told through her singularly hilarious and earnest voice.
Gutowski has received four Teen Choice Awards nominations and two Streamy Awards nominations recognizing both her YouTube channel and her acting career. In 2017, Fast Company named her one of the “Most Creative People in Business.” In 2015, she was featured in Variety’s #Famechangers Issue, which highlighted the world’s most influential digital stars and those who most resonated with their audiences across multiple major content platforms.
Since launching her channel in 2012, Gutowski has worked with a number of major brands including Proactiv, TRESemmé, PacSun, and Kohl’s. In July 2017, she was named one of the faces of Fanta’s massive national advertising and marketing campaign, “Be More Than One Flavor.”
