Danny Lobell

Stand-up comedian

Danny Lobell is a stand-up comedian and storyteller living in Los Angeles. He hosts the philosophy and comedy podcast "Modern Day Philosophers" and has been on This American Life and WTF with Marc Maron. He has two albums, The Nicest Boy in Barcelona and Some Kind of Comedian, out on Stand Up! Records. In 2015, he performed for TEDx, and in 2017 he premiered his one-hour solo show "Broke As A Joke" in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Comedian Danny Lobell has always been broke. But he's never given up hope. He's bred hairless cats for money and worked alongside geriatric hawking Jackie Mason's merchandise at his Broadway show. He raised chickens to sell their eggs with his gangster neighbor and moved to LA to finally be in the movies. Throughout all his typical millennial and broke artist struggles, he's always managed to keep a smile on his face and follow his dreams.
